Florida Anonymous

The anniversary of Lisa McPherson's death is coming up. It would be great if Clearwater anons could plan a special protest in memory of her, not just the usual 11:00-4:00 protest. We'd probably be able to get a lot of the people from the Lisa McPherson trust to join us for one, long, epic protest. Plus a lot of regular Clearwater citizens still do a candlelight memorial for her when the sun goes down. If Anonymous was there, we'd definitely make an impression on people. Still, if we do this, it would have to be a very well-planned protest. Maybe noon to whenever the candlelight service ends. Can it be done?

You can follow in the footsteps of what we did at the first protest. We bought fake flowers and put them down as we walked by the room she lived in.

I remember the one minute of silence standing across from Ft. Homicide and I remember everyone taking pix of the cabana where they held Lisa hostage and didn't someone make up a special sign with flowers on it, but they wouldn't let us leave it. Do you have any pix of the fake flowers? I'd like to see that.

I know everyone wants us to remember Lisa McPherson and we do. Every newb that joins us is shown the cabana where she was held hostage and her brick---along with Cong. Leo Ryan and Roxanne Friend's bricks in Gaslight Alley.

We'll run into littering issues if we leave flowers.

You have them collected when done if the officers give you any real problem, most of the time they will not if it is done in memorial. See the road side memorials for dead car accident victims.

The people setting up roadside memorials don't have cults following them around bitching...

Your really determined not to let this happen? But why?

You're really going to question Six's dedication to this cause? Good luck with that.

She's trying to politely tell you all that we know what will happen if we try to leave flowers on a sidewalk, in Gaslight Alley, or anywhere around any Scilon building or anywhere downtown because the cult watches us likes hawks--in person and on surveillance. Lisa's death wasn't a vehicular death so the whole highway memorial thing doesn't apply. It's LITTERING to leave something like that on a public sidewalk.

Once again, I'd love to see pictures of Anonymous leaving flowers for Lisa at the Feb. 10, 2008 protest. I realize we were split up into groups and communication was pretty shitty back then, but I really don't remember us putting flowers down by the room they held her captive in. Hell, it took a LOT of very slow walking just to get good pix of the room= Room #174/Cabana at the back of the Ft. Harrison facing S. Osceola about half a block from where we set up our base at the City Hall Fountain.

We were allowed exactly one minute to stand quietly across the street from Ft. Homicide as a memorial to Lisa. We did that at noon. BTW? It was horribly disrupted by a Scilon who was screaming at us from across the street that we had to keep moving. The Clearwater Police Officer had to tell the guy to STFU because that one minute was being allowed. I also think there was a guy who had flowers on a sign and asked to put that in front of the Ft. Harrison, but I think that request was denied.

We laid fresh flowers on Lisa, Cong. Ryan, and Roxanne Friend's bricks at a past protest, took pix, and then removed them immediately because it's LITTERING and the cult will go screeching to the CPD if we tried to do that. Also, an out-of-town protester cleaned Lisa's brick recently.

As far as having the December protest on Dec. 5th? We've already said that we would submit that date when we vote for the December date at our November protest. That's how that works. If you're at the current protest, then you get to vote on when we have the next protest. Whatever date is more convenient for everyone's schedules is the date that's chosen. If you want to have a say in when the monthly protest is going to be held? Try to be at the November protest.

What we do is totally transparent and we post everything that's going to happen on wwp and BoA. We contact the Clearwater Police Department for every protest or event we're going to have and we do that at least two weeks in advance so they can schedule appropriately.

The December protest date will be posted on BoA and wwp in the last afternoon of November 14th.

I'm not questioning her loyalty, I was just trying to understand why she was so against the idea. And now I know,

AMA: I'm not insulted; no blood no foul.

Mold: I'm not against the idea. I stated a series of facts. If -- IF -- those facts sound to you like reasons why we should avoid it...well, they're the facts. I have no opinion on the matter whatsoever. If Clearwater Anonymous wants to protest on the fifth? Great, count me in. If Clearwater Anonymous wants to hold a memorial on the fifth? Sure, count me in on that, too. If Clearwater Anonymous wants to don ballgowns and hold a waltz on the fifth? Kinda gay, but sure, count me in. But we'll decide the date on the fourteenth, once all the active participants have gotten a chance to speak up if they're not available.

If the most convenient date turns out to be the fifth, we'll raid on the fifth. If not, we'll raid on whatever IS the most convenient date. I'm not going to support the choice of the fifth for a date if it turns out three people in all of Clearwater can attend it while thirty could attend the next weekend. We'll see how it goes on the 14th.

Have I mentioned that I luuuurrrrvvvvved you anon612 :P
The Archer has returned to love on Mudkipz. I would love to be part of the vigil and he protest. The Lisa McPherson incident is what made me start hating Scientology in the first place.
